Interactive Discovery Zone
The Cosmo Project is an interactive discovery play area for kids to engage with a captivating and immersive environment inspired and driven by bio-mimetic mechanisms.

As guests explore the area they will interact with a variety of points of interest where they will use tools created by reimagining biological mechanisms into simple tools such as the networking of fungi into a system of plug and play connections. Each area will allow the guest to problem solve and work their way through different puzzles and patterns.

What makes this experience differ from many current informal education experiences is that the interactions are the critical learning points, and there is no specific end goal required to reach in order to learn the desired skills of creative problem solving, pattern recognition, and understanding cause and effect.

The main underlying principle of the interaction points is that of a mycelium or root network in which local and system-wide nodes can be communicated between and pass around useful and meaningful information.
Cosmo's environment pulls from the biological mechanisms that allow life forms to communicate and function and uses them as inspiration for interaction points for the guests.
